The Suburban Wellness Center is a cooperative venture between the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System and Healthtrax, a leading national fitness and wellness provider. Opened in November 2002, the Center offers a unique and exciting concept in total healthcare for families, individuals and area businesses by combining traditional clinical services, community health education, physical and occupational rehabilitation services, and a state-of-the-art fitness center all under one roof.

The Suburban Wellness Centers mission is to promote, restore and maintain good health throughout the community by offering the most advanced fitness facilities, expert clinical staff, and quality wellness programming all with the peace of mind that comes from an association with one of the areas leading healthcare organizations.

The cornerstone of the facility, Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness offers customized exercise programs for all ages and fitness levels, including programs for individuals with chronic health conditions. Amenities include specialized fitness equipment, a lap pool, gymnasium, racquetball courts, group exercise studios, a mind-body studio, and more.For individuals who require physical or occupational rehabilitation, the ground floor of the Wellness Center also includes the newest outpatient site in the NRH Regional Rehab network a joint service of the National Rehabilitation Hospital and the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System. In this facility, highly skilled therapists combine clinical expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to treat patients and improve overall well-being.

Finally, the upper level of this cutting-edge facility is designed to accommodate a variety of community health practitioners, including internal medicine physician offices, dental practices, and others. Community health education classrooms are also available.
